Thursday, the 22nd of March, Brothers from Lodges all over the metro area came to the quiet neighborhood where River Forest Austin Lodge #850 calls home. The Worshipful Master put out a call for help to put on a third degree. Brothers from as far as Aurora, Berwyn, LaGrange, and Evanston answered that call.
We had Past Masters, Worshipful Masters and Brothers, all participating, taking parts and putting on an impressive degree. Three candidates were raised this evening. Real Masonic fellowship was evident throughout the evening as Brothes all stepped up and helped each other and learned the subtle differences lodges have in putting on degrees and the talents Brothers have in ritual and lectures.
Over all a great time, It pays to take the time to honor one's obligations
